Founded in November of 1999, ShopIP focused on research and development for the initial fifteen months.

In May 2001 the CrunchBox Intrusion Prevention System was born, and in November 2001 we introduced a virtually unbreakable and crash-proof firewall in the CrunchBox 2.0.

In August 2003 we introduced our latest and greatest Intrusion Prevention System, the CrunchBox 3.3.
